I have been thinking about this for a while and have decided to take a break from Twitter. As much as I love chit-chatting on there with everyone, I feel like I am devoting much more time an energy to it than it deserves. I need to focus more of my attention on my family and home.
I am so serious about this break that I have deleted the twitter app from my phone. My phone will no longer buzz with Twitter notifications. I haven't yet decided if I will make an appearance at the #clothdiapers chat on Monday nights during this time. I guess we'll find out next week.
If you'd like to keep in touch, you can contact me through the blog, email, or my Facebook page.
We all need a break now and then. A chance to rest, a chance to reflect. Both on who we are and who we want to be.

Good for you! I am on a (mostly) FB break. I use it for blogging purposes, but I don't pay much (if any) attention to my newsfeed. I thought it would be hard, but I have to admit, it's actually been great. I haven't missed it at all!
ReplyDeleteAs I already kicked facebook, I've been using twitter to connect, mostly with you, you hoser! Lol. ah well. we'll see how my self imposed facebook purge goes.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! You will get extra time to spend with just one little one:) March 1st I'm deactivating FB for the month because I'm sick of it. I'm trying to use my professional twitter account more so I know I wouldn't want to ignore the personal one if I'm still using the other one.
ReplyDeleteI completely understand and totally relate! Twitter isn't my weakness, but Facebook certainly is! I've been trying to limit my time on all social media as much as possible. I've got sweet babies to play with, a house to clean, and lots of other more important things to do in the real world!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog today! I'm glad I did!
Enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI get on Twitter every once and awhile but I mostly just scroll through my feed instead of posting.
