It's hard to believe, but my little munchkin is 15 months old! Each day he looks less and less like a little baby and more and more like a little boy. My heart can't take it!
This morning we braved the cold to head to his 15 month Well Baby checkup. His doctor recently moved to another part of the hospital campus and I couldn't remember exactly where, so we arrived early. We were actually back in the exam room 15 minutes before his scheduled appointment! This never happens.
When we got back to the room the nurse checked Gene's height and weight. My chunky monkey weighed 25 lbs 2 oz and was 30" tall!! After that we got to wait for the doctor to come in.
And wait.
And wait....
And wait some more.
Just kidding. Our wait for Dr. H actually wasn't too bad. Maybe 10 minutes (waiting for the nurse to come back took much longer). While we waited Gene ran around the exam room like a wild animal and played with the books. Of course, being flu season, all I could see were germs.
Once Dr. H came in, Gene started showing off. He had plenty to say and even went up and gave her a little hug! She said he looked great. He's a little bow legged right now, but that's normal. He's hitting all of his milestones like a champ.
He did have to get a few shots, but only cried for a moment. He goes back in April for his 18 month checkup and then we go to annual appointments!
He looks like such a big boy sitting in that chair. :)
