Thank You, Insurance

I was admitted to the hospital at 7AM on Tuesday and discharged at 6PM on Friday.  That's 83 hours.  The hospital, of course, wasted no time sending out the bill, which I received in my inbox today.

Here's what I saw...


Being in the hospital is expensive!  Fortunately, we have excellent health insurance, even if their customer service department leaves something to be desired.

I can't even imagine receiving this bill if I didn't have insurance, though I know there are plenty out there who don't have any.

I really like the bottom line of my bill.  Gene's my little bargain baby.

  3. Wow! When I was sent to the tertiary hospital when I was in PTL with Oliver, it never even got that high! I think for all of my hospitalizations and treatments I got up to 22K.

    LMAO!! My word verification was OUCHIE.
