After being told that removing boards from walls is outside of my range of expertise (which is funny, considering that repair drywall is not), my husband agreed to remove the boards and shelf from the nursery closet.
In the process of removing a shelf, he came across a photo stuck behind one of the boards. It's old and falling apart, but you can clearly see that it is a photo of a young woman.
A young woman named Edith.
I think my husband thought I made the name up, but it's written on the back of the photo.

It really makes me wonder just how long the crappy "shelving system" (and I use the phrase loosely) was up there. The photo is obviously black and white. How old do you think it is?
