My goal is to read 75 books before December 31, 2011.  Here's the list of books I've read so far:

7.  Marley & Me -- John Grogan (January)

8. The Wedding -- Nicholas Sparks (February)

This is the sequel to The Notebook.  I liked it.  It wasn't too sad, as most of Sparks' books end up being.  Like The Notebook, no one died at the end (seems to be a common theme in his books).

Don't believe me?  You think Noah and Allie head toward the white light together in bed at the end?  It's not true.  That's the sunshine movie version.  If I remember correctly, Allie is lucid at the end of the book and she and Noah get it on.  Read it for yourself.
