Did you know that you can buy a discman for $9.54? I remember begging for one of these in the 5th grade so that I could listen to my Savage Garden CD in the car. I want to say they were around $50 at that point and that was 1997.
Anyway, that's not the point of this post. This post is about headphones.
Anyone use Apple products? iPods? iPhones? Anyone use the ear buds that came with them? Does anyone actually like them? Whose ears were those created to fit?
Because let me tell you, they weren't thinking of my ears when they designed those.
They fit terribly and fall out of my ears while I'm sitting still. How am I supposed to exercise safely if I spend all of my time attempting to shove them back in my ears?
So I'm considering a change. I love my Apple products, but I think I'm going to have to break up with their ear buds. I don't have the space to carry around something that fits over my ears, but I am shopping around for a pair that fit down into the ear canal. I need something that is going to stay put. If you have Apple ear buds and they stay in place, you're just trying to make me feel bad. The only creatures that like my ear buds are my dogs. I think they've gone through at least three pair now.
Any recommendations?
I use the marshmallow ear buds. I have small ears and they are the only ones that fit comfortably.
ReplyDeleteYou really need SkullCandy ear buds. I love mine a million! Plus they come with different sized buds so you can fit them to your ears.
ReplyDeleteI hated my iPod earbus as well....I thought it was just me and my weird ears but I'm glad to know someone else has the same problem.

ReplyDeleteI don't know anyone who like earbuds. I have heard of people buying yurbuds to go around them (http://www.yurbuds.com/) and help them fit better.
I killed my earbuds running in the rain, so I replaced them with these:

They're not *comfortable* but they stay in place with the little fin type thingy & they are waterproof.
