I have some bad news.
I did not get into nursing school this semester.
I'm okay about it.
I received my letter October 22nd. I'm on the alternate list. They only accept something like 20 students. If, for any reason, those students can't start the program in January, they will begin to offer spaces to the alternates.
So I guess there is still a one-in-a-million shot that I will start nursing school in January.
I'm going to be honest, I was pretty upset when I read my letter. Within 24 hours, I found out that two of my friends got into the program. I am happy for them, but it still hurt a little to hear it.
Now, though, I am a-OK. I am already looking at next semester's application deadlines and am planning accordingly. I'm not going to let one little bump in the road stop me from becoming a nurse.
Girl, I'm sorry for that crappy news. That stinks.
ReplyDeleteIs it bad if I pray for somebody else to drop out?
Boo. Crossing my fingers that you can start in January.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're not giving up! Still sucks though. Hugs!
