I was off this past weekend. Why, oh why, did the weather have to be crummy all weekend? It rained both days off.
Here's what my street looked like at one point on Saturday:
SO. MUCH. RAIN.
It's a good thing I didn't need to go anywhere, because the end of my driveway looked more like a boat launch. Oh, and my husband was out trying to get a Red Box movie when this torrential downpour happened. He made it home safely -- he didn't float away or melt.
Does it not usually rain a lot where you live? Or are the roads just not built for it?
ReplyDeleteI live in Oregon, and we can have days where's it pouring, then all of a sudden everything dries up and people are outside in shorts. That's how today's shaping up to be, only not quite that warm :)
I'm hoping it doesn't rain on our drive...otherwise Big Man will be driving the whole way.
