For some reason, I woke up yesterday and decided that it was time to get my hair cut. The ends were split and I needed some texture (the last haircut I got wasn't the best).
The first mistake I made was going where my husband gets his cuts. He's a boy and says things like '1 on the sides and 3 on the top' and gets what he wants. Me? I give a photo (it was a photo of me) and detailed explanation of what I'd like, and this is what I end up with:
The girl gave me a freaking mullet!!!
The photos above are the same side of my head. The other side looked like a normal haircut, albeit with uneven, poorly-blended layers.
Not good.
I ended up calling the place back to complain. I got a second haircut at no charge (of course) and it happened while the first girl wasn't there. What's really awful is that I knew a girl who worked there does poorly, I just didn't know her name. I've learned my lesson.
I'm looking for a new stylist.
Yes! Te first item on your to do list would be to find another hairdresser! No offense, but that is awful! If this girl has a reputation of being bad, then I'm sure the salon knows it, too, and they need to do something about it because it's bad for biz and soon they will get "tired" of fixing her screw ups!!

ReplyDeleteNothing's more frustrating to me than getting ma' hair did and not being happy with it...since I so rarely get my butt to a salon.
So the 2nd girl fixed it?
Hope you got it figured out and it looks better for you.. I let my gf cut my hair cause I barely trust anyone else
