May 8th, Here We Come!

Well we are one step closer to becoming homeowners! We had our inspection yesterday and it went really well! Our inspector could not believe it when we told him that the house is 90 years old. It's obviously been taken care of over the last century. Even the boiler, which was manufactured around the time that dirt was invented, is in great condition.

I'm really excited about buying our first house. It's such an exciting time in our life. I've been browsing the IKEA website, searching for inspiration, and daydreaming about all the things we can do with the house.

Of course, we don't close until May 8th. The lease on our apartment doesn't end until May 31st, which is why we're waiting. I know it really isn't, but six weeks seems like an eternity!

I am really happy for you! I know you've gotta be having a great time daydreaming and planning. That's the absolute best part! Good luck with everything, I hope the process continues to go smoothly. :)

  3. Congratulations!! That is so exciting! Enjoy the daydreaming phase...I have been in that same stage even though we have owned our home for almost a year. It's time for us to start going to work on our house. :)
